I graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science and a minor in Psychology. Currently, I am in my second and final year of the Combined Dietetic Internship/Master’s Program at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University, on my way to becoming a registered dietitian.
My experience thus far lies in food service, nutrition education, outpatient care (diabetes, cancer, and weight management), clinical care (cardiac, intensive care, renal, and pediatrics), communications and research. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to share my nutrition insight on various online platforms including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute- Nutrition Center, Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter, and The Friedman Sprout. I am also currently involved in nutrition care at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital and nutrition research at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.
Working in a variety of settings has given me a deeper understanding of the many ways that nutrition impacts overall health and wellbeing. As I finish up my dietetic internship this school year, I’m looking forward to what comes as a future RD!
