Katelyn Castro, MS, RD, LDN is a registered dietitian with experience in nutrition education, communications, and research as well as community and clinical nutrition. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to share her nutrition insight on various online platforms including the Center for Young Women’s Health, Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter, the Friedman Sprout, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute- Nutrition Center,
She received advanced training as a nutrition fellow in the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Katelyn currently works in the Division of Endocrinology at Boston Children’s Hospital and at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University. She then earned her Masters in Nutrition Science from Tufts University and completed her dietetic internship at Tufts Medical Center with rotations in outpatient care (diabetes, oncology, renal, and cardiovascular disease) and clinical care (neurology, surgery, intensive care, neonatal and pediatrics).
