Katelyn Castro, MS, RD, LDN is a registered dietitian with experience in nutrition education, communications, and research as well as community and clinical nutrition. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to share her nutrition insight on various online platforms including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute- Nutrition Center, Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter, and The Friedman Sprout.
Currently, she is receiving training as a nutrition fellow in the Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition, she works at the Klarman Eating Disorders Center at McLean Hospital and at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University. She then earned her Masters in Nutrition Science from Tufts University and completed her dietetic internship at Tufts Medical Center with rotations in outpatient care (diabetes, cancer, and weight management) and clinical care (cardiac, intensive care, renal, neonatal and pediatrics).
